MOCI TO PROPOSE FOR CURFEW PERMITS FOR WORKERS RESIDING IN ISOLATED AREAS

KUWAIT CITY:

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry will propose to the government about renewal of curfew permits which were valid during the period of the total ban, even if they are residents of isolated areas.

Plus possibility of issuing new permits for workers who are required by companies to conduct their business during the first stage and return to gradual normality.

The sources indicated that MOCI will address the government with its proposal, to overcome the obstacles that is holding up the companies to resume commercial activities as per the recent decision by the cabinet to operate from Sunday, especially since most of the expatriate workers are concentrated in the isolated areas which include Farwaniya and Khaitan Hawally, Maidan Hawally besidesileeb AI-Shuyoukh and Mahboula
