Kuwait City, 22nd January 2021:
50 KD Additional to pay by Kuwait Arrivals, iiQ8
Passengers traveling to Kuwait have to pay additional 50 KD
As per recent decision by the Council of Ministers that airlines are to be charged for #PCR tests for arrivals, the Directorate of Civil Aviation directed the airlines operating at Kuwait Airport to add the price of the PCR tests that will be imposed on all arrivals to Kuwait.
The concerned authorities have reached an initial price of KD 25 per PCR examination, two tests totals to KD 50. The first test will be done on arrival and second after 7 days of institutional quarantine. Both PCR fees will be added to the ticket of passengers who are coming to Kuwait, reports Al Rai. The examination task will be undertaken by the local private sector in order not to increase the burden on the Ministry of Health currently.
