The name “WAMD” comes from the Arabic word for “Flash,” which perfectly captures the speed and convenience of this new feature. Previously, if you wanted to send money to a friend, you'd have to either add them as a beneficiary or generate a payment link.   With #WAMD, those steps are no longer necessary.
