Kuwait airport is ready to restart commercial flights

Kuwait City, 21st September, 2020 : Airport to be fully operational when COVID vaccine available The Executive Committee for the restarting of Commercial Flights decided to exempt the aircraft and technical crews from the 14-day home quarantine period, as per the procedures by the Ministry of Health to examine them continuously during specific periods. This was as per what was stated by the Deputy Director General for Kuwait Airport Affairs, Saleh Al-Fadaghi, as currently all arrivals there have been no new procedures about reducing home quarantine or allowing them to be institutionalized. Indians can now book Kuwait Airways flights to certain Indian cities once flights restart and the Kuwait airport opens from 01 Aug, 2020. The cities are Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai and Thiruvandipuram. In addition, bookings are available for 17 other destinations as part of the aircraft’s operation schedule. The national carrier will also begin flying to Amman, Bahrain, Bodrum, Baku, Beirut, Cairo, Doha, Dubai, Geneva, Istanbul, London, Malaga, Milan, Munich, Paris, Tbilisi and Trabzon Vienna. For other destinations, resumption of operations will depend upon aviation authorities guidelines at destination airports.
