Ministry of Interior, Kuwait is planning to introduce the all new law regulating the residence of foreigners in the country. The new proposal will be presented to the Cabinet first for discussion and approval before referring it to the National Assembly as a matter of urgency. According to report, the new proposal suggest that An expatriate will be granted a residence permit not exceeding 5 years. Investors will begiven a residence permit of up to 15 years, depending on the activity they practice. Moreover, fees will be imposed so that the Kuwait can be benefit from these investments.
