Job Title :  Sr. Accountant

Reporting to : Sr. Associate – Accounts and Control

Location: Riyadh

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and updating trail balance, profit & loss account and balance sheet
• Ensuring all JV’s are prepared and posted before month closing
• Supporting/Leading month end and year end closing cycles
• Preparing asset schedules and reconciling with G/L accounts
• Leading bank reconciliation on daily basis with G/L accounts
• Planning and scheduling periodic physical inventory count as per company policy
• Liaising with category, delivery & installation and marketing departments for vendor payments and reconciliation with G/L accounts
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policy in all accounting procedures

Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounting procedures, accounting rules/standards and exposure to financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process.
• Moderate to Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with SAP/Oracle
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Minimum required is (Accounting Certifications (ACCA/CA) or degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant certifications)
