Job Summary:

Incumbent preferably from a manufacturing industry supporting IT Helpdesk operations with 2-4 years of IT Support experience in remote desktop support management/environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the following technologies: Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, Windows 7/8/10, desktops, laptops, printers, networked copiers, NIC’s, basic LAN/WAN connectivity and others as assigned.
  • Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.
  • Hands on experience in Networking (LAN/ WAN & Security) Cisco Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP (mandatory).
  • Hands on experience in Cisco routing & switching concepts.
  • Raise tickets & record incident resolutions in the Help Desk tool.
  • Maintain or stabilize a secure network for data communication which needs to be quite efficient and reliable.
  • Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to second or third level in accordance with Help Desk escalation processes.
  • Must be responsible for organizing, designing the organization’s computer system.
  • Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support calls.
  • Should have hands on experience in handling incidents/SR remotely using the remote tools like any desk, PC anywhere, RDP.
  • Provide enhancement request feedback to IT regarding technology environment and customer needs through the defined processes.
  • Co-ordinate internal teams to install respective applications for users.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong problem solving skills, experience with TCP/IP and general networking issues.
  • Adept in MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills, successful in working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to meet strict timelines of reporting of financials with quality and accuracy.
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment, communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure.

 

Education:

  • Any Graduation / Engineering along with MCSE & CCNA, ITIL V3 foundation certification preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of directly related work experience in a technical support position.
