π Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Warehouse Team Lead to join our operations team in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse operations and a proven ability to supervise and lead a team effectively. This role will support the Warehouse Team Lead in managing day-to-day logistics, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
π― Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, repacking, and dispatching of materials
- Lead and support warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and compliance with safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and maintain accurate stock records
- Assist in implementing warehouse process improvements for increased efficiency and cost savings
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Perform quality checks and ensure materials are handled and stored properly
- Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Warehouse Team Lead
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of tools and equipment
β Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2β4 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse procedures
- Hands-on experience in loading/unloading, order picking, and material handling
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
