Responsibilities: 

• Preparing annual budget and presenting to higher management, setting up objectives and targets for different division and individuals
• Management of Residential and Commercial contracts including tender bidding, execution and maintenance
• Nursery management for plant propagation, quality control and inventory control
• Management of retail outlets in Wafra, Abdally and Kuwait city for the sale of horticultural and irrigation products
• Management of procurement, sales and marketing
• Cost control and profitability in all operations
• Build long term, trust based relationships with customers. Anticipate customer requirements and concerns. Deliver value in a manner that meets both customer and company goals
• Team retention and team development for new business
• Fiscal growth and business expansion

 

Minimum Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Horticulture or equal
• 10 years relevant experience, of which 5 years in GCC preferably Kuwait with landscape or infrastructure or environmental projects, plant production and sales of agricultural products
• Proven ability to bid, plan, supervise, execute and maintain landscaping projects
• Good knowledge of the plants most suitable for arid climate of the region
• Product knowledge on different type of pavers, interlocks, water features and all hardscapes materials
• Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationship with customer and ability to provide practical and cost effective solutions
• Fluent in spoken and written English and ability to communicate in Arabic
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals of varied backgrounds
• Ability as a representative of a leading Landscape Services Company to project a consistently positive, professional and competent image in all dealings with the public
• Strategic thinker and visionary with leadership qualities
• Self-motivated, disciplined and interpersonal skills

Job Summary:

The Safety Officer support the safety activities throughout AI businesses, inspect work areas, equipment etc. to ensure compliance with company’s as well as ministry’s safety policies and regulations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor site specific safety and health aspects
• Ensure personal protective equipment are being used in work places according to safety regulations
• Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company’s safety policies
• Inspect fire suppression systems and portable fire equipment/ extinguishers to ensure that they are in good working condition and needy to be use as and when needed
• Conduct inspection for first aid medicines in locations and supply as required

• Document safety audits, cite dangerous areas and recommend corrective procedures
• Oversee the fire system maintenance  activities in all facilities
• Maintain logs of safety activities in all facilities
• Coordinate fire license inspections
• Coordinate to accomplish safety requirements in each facilities liaising with Facilities’ supervisors
• Delivering safety training courses
• Conducting safety evacuation drills

Candidate Requirements:

• Good communication skills in English – Verbal & Written (Arabic an advantage)
• Knowledge in safety procedures and standards
• Relevant experience in safety field
• Good Team Work
• Good Presentation Skills
• Valid Kuwait Driving License
• Preferred Kuwaiti Nationals

 

Education:

• Graduate / Diploma in any discipline
• Certifications in Safety  related courses
• Knowledge of MS Office solutions (Excel, Word, Power point)
