COVID-19 bivalent booster available: Health Ministry KUWAIT CITY, 1st February 2023: The Health Ministry announced Tuesday that the Moderna COVID-19 bivalent booster vaccine is available at 16 locations around the country, starting from Wednesday February 1, 2023. The new booster provides protection against the original strain of the virus as well as the omicron variants.   Anyone over the age of 18 who has taken a second dose of any COVID-19 vaccine or booster shot is eligible to take the new booster, the ministry said. Kuwait City, 1st February 2023:   Kuwait Announced COVID19 Bivalent Booster Available in 16 Locations   The Ministry Of Health in Kuwait, announced that the Covid19 bivalent booster vaccine will be available at 16 locations around the country.   From 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM starting from 1st February, 2023 Wednesday.   The new booster vaccine provides protection against the original strain of the virus as well as the Omicron variants, anyone over the age of 18 who has taken a 2nd dose of any Covid19 vaccine or booster shot is eligible to take the new booster. Kuwait Stops Home Delivery of Civil ID Cards

Kuwait City, 1st February 2023: Kuwait Stops Home Delivery of Civil ID Cards   The Public Authority for Civil Information stopped the home delivery service of civil cards as the contract with the specialized company was not renewed. The last request for renewal of the contract was submitted to the State Audit Bureau on July 28, 2021. PACI earns 650 fils from the Civil ID card holders while remaining amount goes to the delivery company, reports Al Qabas. The Audit Bureau report revealed that the company continued to provide its services during 2022, despite the end of the contract in July 2021. The authority stopped the service this month.   The Public Authority for Civil Information is expediting the issuance of cards for domestic workers, citizens, and expats working in government ministries. Kuwait warns not to enter Sabah Al-Ahmad Nature Reserve In 1988 it was officially announced as a national park. Still, after the gulf war, it was cleared from mines and re-fenced and opened officially on 3rd March 2004, and named after the late Amir, #Sabah Al-Ahmad Natural Reserve, due to his efforts to protect the environment. It is located along Subiya road which cuts it into two parts, coastal and desert sections. Kuwait City, 30th January 2023: Ministry of Information announced a Flag Hoisting on 1st February #The Ministry of Information announced that a #flag hoisting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, February 1 at #Bayan Palace to signal the start of #Kuwait's national celebrations.  As part of the preparations for the national holiday celebrations during the month of February, the Kuwait Municipality has developed an integrated plan to decorate official buildings and main roads with state flags.
