Position Summary:
The financial analyst intern is responsible for supporting the delivery of key analytical reports. The job holder will be integral part of the finance team providing clear, accurate and insightful business/financial analysis. They job holder will also contribute to business planning and be included in project work and or specialist ad hoc reporting.
Position Tasks:
- Create database of key reports that are essential for both new vehicles and after sales business:
- Trends of support levels from the principal (new vehicles)
- Pricing charts for key carlines vs. competition
- Price build-ups for all carlines for all the variants
- Productivity trends and collations of KPIs for after sales team etc.
- Create insightful reports with key findings after alignment with stakeholders, such as:
- Dashboard on carline performance, especially at showroom level
- Creation of salesman for premium brand
- Alignment of showroom KPIs across all dealerships
- Provide support in the business planning and forecasting processes
- Liaise with business managers in areas of expertise and through confident and clear communication develop a trusted partner status through high quality support and decision aiding analysis
Qualifications:
- Position requires a background in Finance or Accounting related field
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel is necessary to deliver the required reports
- Strong interpersonal skills, and proactive to take on challenging tasks
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner.
