Pre-Installation

SAP Fiori apps require a web browser that can display files in HTML5 format.

You have to decide how to set up the roles and authorizations for the SAP Fiori users. This includes, for example, which user group uses which apps.

Required if you use SAP Fiori apps that use an SAP HANA database.
To configure HTTPS and SSO in the SAP HANA database, the administrator requires privileges to access SAP HANA on the operating system level.

Required if you use SAP Fiori analytical apps that use SAP HANA in a side-by-side scenario alongside any database that contains the SAP Business Suite data.
Make sure that data replication between the database that contains the SAP Business Suite data and SAP HANA is configured.

Pre-Installation Checklist
Up toΒ SAP NetWeaverΒ Basis 740 SP08, certain notes must be implemented to enableΒ SAP Screen Personas 3.0,Β otherwise the solution will not be available or work correctly.
EnablingΒ SAP NetWeaverΒ Basis 731 for Personas:

Enabling SAP NetWeaver Basis 740 SP03 – SP08
Depending on the installed basis service pack, a correspondingΒ SAP Screen Personas 3.0Β enablement note has to be applied. Before the note can be implemented, the following steps must be executed, otherwise there is a risk of putting the system into an inconsistent state.
Exchanging the kernel
