No more 5KD Charge for Civil ID

 

Kuwait City, 21st October 2023: No more 5KD Charge for Civil ID.

 

PACI not to charge 5 KD card fee for those whose cards are not yet issued

Deputy Director General for Civil Registration Affairs at the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) Jaber Al-Kandari confirmed that PACI will not charge the card renewal fee of 5 KD for those whose cards are not yet issued during their next renewal. No more 5KD Charge for Civil ID

The PACI stopped issuing cards for all those who submitted card renewal before last May 23. The new request are processed and cards are issued within 24 to 48 hours in most cases.

As the old requests are not processing, those who paid the 5 KD fee earlier will no need be required to pay the fee again during their next renewal request, Jaber Al-Kandari said.

He also urged all residents to collect the cards once it is ready so that they do not accumulate in the machines, which delays the issuance of new cards.
