Kuwait City, 21st October, 2020: Kuwait Airways Board Directors request to open direct flights from all countries to Kuwait, iiQ8   Call to restart direct flights with quarantine in Kuwait The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Airways, Captain Ali Al-Dukhan, announced they had submitted a plan that includes the concerned airline to conduct the health checks and PCR tests required for passengers arriving on its flights in the designated building in accordance by the Ministry of Health, including the PCR test. Kuwait City, 21st September, 2020 : Airport to be fully operational when COVID vaccine available The Executive Committee for the restarting of Commercial Flights decided to exempt the aircraft and technical crews from the 14-day home quarantine period, as per the procedures by the Ministry of Health to examine them continuously during specific periods. This was as per what was stated by the Deputy Director General for Kuwait Airport Affairs, Saleh Al-Fadaghi, as currently all arrivals there have been no new procedures about reducing home quarantine or allowing them to be institutionalized. Kuwait Airways opens bookings to 6 Indian cities, iiQ8

Indians can now book Kuwait Airways flights to certain Indian cities once flights restart and the Kuwait airport opens from 01 Aug, 2020. The cities are Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai and Thiruvandipuram. In addition, bookings are available for 17 other destinations as part of the aircraft’s operation schedule. The national carrier will also begin flying to Amman, Bahrain, Bodrum, Baku, Beirut, Cairo, Doha, Dubai, Geneva, Istanbul, London, Malaga, Milan, Munich, Paris, Tbilisi and Trabzon Vienna. For other destinations, resumption of operations will depend upon aviation authorities guidelines at destination airports. In adherence to the decision of the Council of Ministers, the operational capacity of commercial flights at Kuwait Airport in the first stage, which will start on the first of August, will be 30%, while the percentage of operating flights in the second stage will reach 50%, and the third it will be 100%.
