Our preschool welcomes little ones from 1 – 4 years old
No, your child doesn’t have to be potty trained.
We recognize that potty training is a learning journey, and we provide support to parents and toddlers throughout this process.
At Bamboo, we offer dedicated diaper changing areas for children who have not yet begun potty training. If your child is in the process of potty training, we will work with them accordingly.
We are a play-based program which means that most of the learning is done through play and experience.
In our classrooms we have “centers.” These centers are typically arranged from quiet to loud, and range from everything from a listening center with books, block centers with balancing materials and fun accessories, to dramatic play props, and touch and feel sensory centers like sand and water tables.
The teachers move around the classroom and interact with the children individually and in small groups. They work on topics and extensions based on the individual child(ren)’s developmental level. According to research, play is by far the MOST appropriate (and successful!) way for children to learn.
